These Recycled Glass beads have an earthy, natural feel and look. Ghana is famous for these recycled beads made from recycled glass bottles. Option 1 is a strand of about 40 17 mm translucent Purple with Swirl Recycled Glass Beads on string 25" long. Option 2 is one 17 mm translucent Purple with Swirl Recycled Glass Bead. These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens. -

These gorgeous beads are hand made using the ancient methods with a fresh and soothing, soft look. This particular strand is in the tones of soft lavender/purple. Again the photos don't do justice to the smokey quality of these beads - a very delicate soft hue. There are two hues in the lavender/purple - this one which is darker and the more misty lighter one. The last image shows the two lavender/purple beads. There are 4 sizes in this Pastel Line. Size 6 - 17 mm Size 5 - 15 mm Size 3 - 10 mm and Size 2 - 8 mm. -

A Bracelet Sized strand of tiny Purple Flower shaped Recycled Glass Beads on string. Each bead is about 11 mm x 2 mm. The beads are Flowers with one side Purple and the other Red. These beads are handmade so they will vary in size, shape and pattern. Purple is a very complex colour. There are so many variations. It is said purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it does evoke all of these meanings more so than any other color.
