A strand of various Fancy Heritage African Recycled Glass Beads handcrafted in Ghana. There are two strands to choose from. The largest bead is about 25x31mm. These beads were bought in the Agormanya Market from the wonderful Bead section there... These beads are contemporary but have a very vintage feel because of the way the beads were made. Definitely a collector item or some amazing beads for a special project! -

Because of popularity we got lots more of this Blue Glass with embedded crushed stone during the 2024 Bead Hunt ... Recycled Blue Glass Beads with embedded crushed stone in a smaller disk shape...the beads are about 8x20 mm. The beads are handcrafted so will vary quite a bit in size, shape and colour. The strand of 10 beads + 2 smaller beads you will get are similar to the ones in the photo. The beads are translucent and really come to life in the light. -

A large Recycled Blue Glass with embedded crushed stone Bodom Bead + 8 various disk beads...the Bodom Bead is about 22x30 mm and the disk beads are various graduating sizes. The beads are handcrafted so will vary quite a bit in size, shape and colour. The strand of 1 Bodom Bead and 8 disk beads you will get are the ones in the photo. The beads are translucent and really come to life in the light. -

During a Bead Hunt Funky Frog made a big order from the Kokofrom Cooperative outside Kumasi. These bells were made especially for Funky Frog . The process these metal smiths are using is the same as their ancestors... back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!! There are now four sizes of these bells, small, medium, large and Xtra large. These are the Xtra large sized. $6/bead -

20 Rainbow Fused Recycled Glass beads on cord. These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory, TK Beads in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens. These beads are made by recycling previously used beads. The beads are melted together in a clay oven to make this beautiful mosaic of colors. Each bead is approx. 19x7 mm. The Rainbow Collection consists of three size of round beads, 3 sizes of disk beads, a long oblong bead and a hexagon shaped bead. $14/20 beads -

Beautiful Olive Wood Prayers Beads .... found in the Koforidua Market in Ghana, W.Africa. There are two shapes to choose from. The round wood beads comes in sets of 12 or 40 beads. The long beads come in sets of 12. These beads are gorgeous and very light weight. There are 3 sizes in this Olive Wood Bead. This is the largest size.
