The medium Pineapple is 6o mm. The Large Pineapple is  4" . The process these metal smiths are using is the same as their ancestors... back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!!     These Filligree Pineapple  pendants were made especially for Funky Frog by the Kokofrom Cooperative outside Kumasi. The Pineapple is 52 mm including loop. It is said spiritually the Pineapple symbolizes the hospitality of families, true friendship, diplomacy and openhandedness. And apparently the sound of the Chinese word for pineapple is close to the sound of “good luck coming your way,” so the pineapple has become a popular traditional feng shui symbol of wealth, fortune, and prosperity.
