Baba Tree Banasco Baskets

Banasco Baskets are gorgeous little works of art  … worth collecting!! They are made by talented and experienced weavers who also create Baba Tree’s extraordinary hats using a tiny weave.

The green, tan, pink and a bit of black Banasco is the largest. The basket is about 8″ high and the opening is about 8″ in diameter.

The pink, green, orange, tan and black Banasco is the next in size, a bit smaller. The basket is about 7″ high and opening is about 6″ in diameter.

The smallest Banasco is teal, pink, orange, tan and black. It stands about 6″ high and opening is about 6″.

I have visited Baba Tree in Ghana and was so impressed with the sense of community and above all fair trade actually in action and not just a label!!
