Brass Heart Pendant

Brass Heart Pendants …. some were found in Ghana’s beads markets and some were made for Funky Frog by the Kokofrom gang near Kumasi in Ghana. These hearts are handmade and you will not find two that are exactly the same even though they could be the same design!  The heart is a symbol that needs no research or explanation … :)

Ghana is famous for  Lost Wax Brass beads…. The process these metal smiths are using is the same as their ancestors… back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!! If you would like to see the intricate process check out the blog here …
