There is a small village, Kokofrom just outside Kumasi, Ghana where there are artisans who make lost wax brass beads in the same way as their ancestors. These brass disk were made for Funky Frog. The brass disks are great spacers and give the project something a bit different. These disks are about 1x16mm. They are handmade so will vary in size, shape and colour. The artisans use whatever scrap metal they can get their hands on from old taps to pipes to .. but they call it 'brass'. 15 disks / $7 -
