These beads were bought in the Agormanya Market from the wonderful Bead section there... from the stall of the Queen of the market. She introduced these beads using old material to make heritage beads very much in the old style. There are two strands to choose from. There are slight variations in the strands but the strands are quite similar. But these are handmade so will vary in colour, size and shape. -

Ghana is famous for Lost Wax Brass beads.... The process these metal smiths are using is the same as their ancestors... back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!!
