    A strand of various Fancy African Recycled Glass Beads handcrafted in Ghana. The strand is about 13" long and the large Bodom bead is 21x28mm. These beads were bought in the Agormanya Market from the wonderful Bead section there... from the stall of the Queen of the market. She introduced these beads using old material to make heritage beads very much in the old style. There are two strands to choose from. There are slight variations in the strands but the strands are quite similar. But these are handmade so will vary in colour, size and shape.

    New colours in African Recycled Glass Beads ... a whole array of pastel colours ! The beads were created by the innovative Bead Designer, Tet in Ghana, West Africa. These gorgeous beads are hand made using the ancient methods with a fresh and soothing, soft look. This particular strand is in the tones of lemon yellow… Again the photos don’t do justice to the almost etheral quality of these beads – a very delicate soft hue. There are 5 sizes in the Pastel Line. Size 6 - 17 mm  Size 5 - 15 mm Size 4 - 12 mm Size 3 - 10 mm and Size 2 - 8 mm.

These bodoms have the evil eye. The belief in the ‘evil eye’ dates back thousands of years. It is one of the strongest symbolic symbols in the world. Wearing an evil eye as an amulet is believed to protect the wearer from evil forces. The evil eye has symbolism in practically every country in the world and every religion. Very powerful stuff! This Bodom Bead is triangular and about 36mm x 28mm . It is yellow the 'typical' colour of old Bodoms with black, light blue and rust red designs. The hole is about 5 mm.
