Back by popular demand .... Earth Butter Beads are hand rolled by women from a disadvantaged rural community near Cape Town, South Africa. Desiree designs, glazes and fires the beads in her pottery studio. These colourful beads captured my heart and are amongst the few beads i don't actually go and buy (though it is definitely on my bucket list!) Funky Frog has over the years gathered quite a collection. With Desiree's blessing Funky Frog is offering some of these beads. This way i can destash a bit so i can buy more!!! Always more!! A strand of Igbo Bug Brass beads interspersed with opaque bright red glass beads about 20" long strung on plastic wire. You will received a strand similar to the ones in the photos. These beads are handmade so there will be variations in the size, shape and colour of the beads. These red beads are opaque and a light bright red ... there are also strands with translucent ruby red glass beads interspersed among the igbo bug brass beads. The last photo shows the two 'reds' together. These strands of beads make a delightful, quite exotic necklace ...
