These beads are gorgeous and very light weight. There are 3 sizes in this Olive Wood Bead. This is the medium size. The small beads are here. The long beads come in sets of 12. These beads are gorgeous and very light weight. There are 3 sizes in this Olive Wood Bead. This is the largest size. Funky Frog orders a lot from the Kokofrom Cooperative outside Kumasi. These tiny silver heishi or spacer beads were made especially for Funky Frog . The process these Metal Smiths are using is the same as their ancestors... back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!! The rings are flat with the engravings cover 3/4 of the surface. The rings are handmade so there is a variation in design and size between the bracelets. A strand of Silver Metal Spacer Beads handcrafted in Ghana by jewelry smiths strung on raffia 26" long. These beads were found in one of the largest markets of West Africa in Kumasi, Ghana. The beads are approx. 11x20 mm. -
6 'silver' coin metal Mali squashed bicone beads. The beads are approx. 26 mm by 17 mm. Please note that these beads are made by hand out of recycled metal and will vary in shape and size within the strand. The 6 beads you will receive will be similar to the one you see in the photo but might have some variations. The beads are well made and are probably made with the old coins these beads are named for. These beads were found in Koforidua Market in Ghana.
