A strand of whimsical mixed red and white Recycled Glass beads on string 21" long. These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens. These beads are made by recycling previously used beads. The beads are melted together in a clay oven to make this beautiful mosaic of colors. -

Each bead is approx. 12-13 mm. The beads are handcrafted so will vary in size, colour and shape. -

A strand of 100 Ebony disk shape Wood beads strung on raffia about 28' long. Each bead is about 6x11 mm. These beads are unique and beautiful. The beads are also handmade so will vary in size, shape and colour. -
Gorgeous Ebony wood beads. Each large oblong bead is about 41x12 mm and the small ones are about 31x9 mm. These beads are a mix of dark ebony and various hues of amber. They make a real statement as a necklace strung togehter.. The trader in the Koforidua Market who sold these to me said they were "African Amber". A lot of beads are put under the name 'African Amber' but by any name they are gorgeous and add a certain something .... These beads are $3 each -
A strand of Recycled Glass Waist beads strung on string 16" long. These are the smallest recycled glass beads and great spacer beads. These beads are a salmon red. There is an image which shows the different reds. And also an image that shows the two salmon reds. The salmon red is the lighter of the two. The waist beads are hand made and therefore there will be variations in size and colour. Funky Frog loves to use these beads in tassels! -

The process these metal smiths are using is the same as their ancestors... back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!! This is a mixture of three designs, two are cross hatches and the third is more solid with a circular design. You will get a mix like in the photo. $5/6 beads -
