A strand of 46 black Fused Recycled Glass beads with colourful specks swirled in on string 22" long. These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory, TK Beads in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens. These beads are made by recycling previously used beads, Ghana's answer to Fimo Beads! The beads are melted together in a clay oven to make this beautiful mosaic of colors. Each bead is approx. 11 mm. The beads are handcrafted so will vary in size, colour and shape. -

Colourful strand of large 25 fancy Indian Glass Beads that apparently traveled all the way from India to West African Bead Market.. then brought to Canada by Funky Frog – jet set beads! However the Beads Trader told me they were from Nigeria. While research this bead i could not find any related beads except the glass beads coming from India ... if anyone know these beads please contact us! The beads are about 13x29 mm. Africa but probably found its way there from India. This purple is very hard to photograph. It is definitely a soft translucent purple. Purple is a very complex colour. There are so many variations. It is said purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it does evoke all of these meanings more so than any other color. Further variations of purple can convey different meanings. For instance light purples are light-hearted, floral, and romantic. The dark shades are more intellectual and dignified. You either love purple or you don’t. It was the one colour most people asked for before the 2020 Bead Hunt!! -
