Beautiful large Brass Sun and Moon Bead. Approximately 2.5" x 1.5" in size. You will receive a bead similar to those in the image. These beads are handmade so will vary in colour, size and shape. These beads are made using the labour intensive Lost Wax method where a mould is made of beeswax. This is packed in a muddy mixture with a hole at the top. This whole crucible is heated so the beeswax mould melts and metal that has been melted on another fire is poured in replacing the beeswax! And remember this is done under a scorching sun!!
